# JobSlop > JobSlop is a public index of tracked US job listings. It records posting activity and flags ghost jobs. A ghost job was left open much longer than a normal hire, watched staying up after it was already old, or taken down and published again. It is a signal to investigate, not proof a listing is fake. The public index lists US jobs only. A listing posted — or first seen, when it has no usable posting date — 100 or more days ago is left out, unless it is a US ghost job, which stays listed. The operator console at /admin/ is private and is not part of this index. ## Read this first - [Agent summary](https://jobslop.io/agent.json): current counts, companies, ghost-job policy, generation time, and one active and one ghost example. Read this file for numbers. It is rewritten whenever the index is exported. - [Full index](https://jobslop.io/data.json): every public listing. Job descriptions are not in this file. - [Homepage](https://jobslop.io/): the same listings in a searchable table. The table is filled by JavaScript from data.json. The definition of a ghost job and the links above are in the HTML. ## How to read a listing Each job in data.json includes id, title, company, location, url, date_posted, country, sources, first_seen, last_seen, last_missing_at, repost_count, is_active, is_ghost, and ghost_reason. is_ghost true means JobSlop flagged the listing. is_active false means the listing was no longer seen on its source. A ghost listing can still be active. Counts on the site use one status per job: ghost, otherwise active, otherwise inactive. A ghost row is not also counted as active. ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://jobslop.io/sitemap.xml): public URLs only. /admin/, /api/, and /ops/ are disallowed in robots.txt.
